Help BMW service history check

Hi, I rang bmws servic history check who gave me 8 dates for a car in looking to buy where it went into the same dealer for work,they suppose me the dealers number to enquiry further I rang the dealer and was til 2 service history dates where it had oil changes and micofilter, but for the other 6 dates the lady said she isn't allowed to tell me what they were for?!
Any ideas what reason this could be for?

If the visits were not for scheduled servicing, then the Customer Service person cannot tell you what was done. Sometimes it's because they don't have a list of what was done, and sometimes it's because they class it as personal information and thus they're 'not allowed' to under the DPA.

Anyway, if the car was booked into the Workshop for any reason then this WILL be recorded against the service history of the vehicle.

Chances are that it was Warranty & Recall work that they do not want to reveal.

(Of course German cars never go wrong! - Explain that to my colleague who has had Warranty work approaching £15,000 carried out on hie new 3 series!!!!)
