How Do You Start A Thread With A Poll?

How do you create a thread that you can run a poll?

Click start topic, just above subject line it has an option to choose poll

I don't have that option.

Can I enquire as to the subject of your poll?

Its there on mine.
I thought everyone could see it, but maybe i am wrong.

No. it is a permission we have to give (and we can take away if you abuse it )

Oh ok i didn't know that, which means at some stage i must have been good and been given permission.
