Specifically, how much poo and how easy to clean it up?

Anything else to know?

Cheers

you`ll need a large overgrown paddock, they are browsers prefering to snack on shrubs,trees.

Do you mean Pygmy Goats?

I've been reading up on these as would like a couple one day.

Few things i've discovered;

You need a holding number, but not a licence. The holding numbers aren't difficult to obtain and are free. You need to register any movement of the Goats, again easy to do, fill in a movement licence and send to Trading Standards Office.

Be wary, buy from a reputable breeder, or you could end up with Goats that aren't as minature as you think! - This happened to my neighbour a few years ago.

Males should be weathered unless you intend to breed (castrated). I would like two males Pygmys.

They need shelter and something to climb on and keep them entertained.

My research informs me they don't eat as much unwanted greenery as believed. Ie aren't the lawnmowers they are believed to be.

No idea on the amount of poo side of things. But posting here so I can keep an eye on further input.

I have been thinking of getting Pygmy goats but have only looked after full size ones before now.

I am hoping they are easier than sheep. I know goats need foot trimming - which I am pretty good at. I don't think they get fly strike and I hope they won't need dagging. I don't know how much land you need per goat. I need to reseed a whole area to grass and then I may have somewhere to keep them without letting them in my garden!
