I have rowed for twenty plus years, and to be honest there is no cheap answer. Concept two are great and easy to sell on, I actually sold one I had owned for a year for more than. Bought it for. Waterpower great, quiet but do not have the same resale value. Only buy new if you must, chef eBay for the two I mentioned and if you get bored as you will, you will not loose much...unless you step into a proper boat of course.....,
