Car ideas/recommendations?

Hi guys,

I really want to buy a performance car for my next car and was wondering if anyone would be able to give me any recommendations or ideas as to what I should buy.

I have around £10k in cash + approx £3-4k for my current car as a sale or p/x.

I had thought about a Boxster or an XKR- what are your thoughts on these?

I never really liked them to be honest! Not sure why cos I have heard they are a cracker. On a similar theme I wouldn't mind an MX5 although they are a bit on the slow side

Would this be a 'weekend car' or your only car? If it was a second car then you could consider a Caterham.

You are obviously going to get a younger MX5 than S2000 or Boxster. All three of them are good for reliability but the Mazda and the Honda are bomb proof.
