Anyone going to BNG from the North West Saturday?

I am planning on going to the Big Northern Gathering on Saturday morning. I am based near Blackburn. Anyone going feel like meeting up for a "convoy" there?

I am going from Barrow about 7am. I will probably do the short route over via the Skipton road.
Saves me over 40 miles and avoids the roadworks on the M62.

Me and Chris would come in the TVR Convoy, Where's the best place to meet up. We will be setting off from Colne Lancashire just at the end off M65

I am going to wire my Go-Pro Camera, on the TVR with upgraded mic, i should get some good shots of the drive up to BNG.

I will be heading down the M65 past Colne so anywhere around there would be good. I have planned to meet up with dbV8 at Skipton between 08.00-08.30 so 07.30ish would be about right. Looking forward to seeing the Orange Chimaera.

Where abouts in Skipton are you meeting up & is there a definite time? I was toying with going on the A59 over blubberhouses - never really enjoyed the run from the end of the M65 - always seemed to be too much traffic & a bit stop start. Anyhow, let me know, it'll be nice to tag along if I can get away in time.

We could come right through the centre of Harrogate no problem as long as we head to the M1 south.
Guess we would take the A661 from the Stray roundabout. About 9am ish
