Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone has any idea what would cause play in a rear wheel?
Just had the wedge mot'ed and found a fair bit of play in the rear wheel. Nothing left to right, only top to bottom?
Cheers

As already mentioned it is usually the U/J's but can sometimes be the rear wheel bearings or possibly a loosening hub nut so all worth checking. Get the car up in the air with the wheels on and while someone moves the wheel up and down have a good look at the U/J's and other joints and bushes. Sure sign is a slight clunk on power take up when driving.
