Does anybody know if there are companies that lease Astons for 12-24 months ?

I have only ever bought cars outright but on the principle if it flys, floats or f---s it should be leased I am beginning to think an Aston could be treated like an expensive toy and if so it would be nice to change one regularly ideally every 18 months.

cost would be interesting if you limited mileage to say 5k a year which is all I do in my DB9

Does anybody already do this ?

But with £30k deposit...........not sure how much of that you'll see back in a couple of years. Unless of course the deposit could be borrowed from elsewhere. With the interest saved on the 0% side (because interest will only be due on the £30k) could work out cheaper than any lease deal over two years and with no initial outlay.

Alternatively, I could just confiscate my wife's credit card and service the finance on a new vanquish without missing a penny.

it dosent matter how you fund it, you still have to cover the depreciation costs, dealer margins, finance costs etc

im sure it all works out similar....interest free has got to be best option though ...then maybe you can invest your cash elsewhere and try to offset some of the depreciation you are suffering smile

IIRC the final payment was ~ 47k. looking at today's prices after 2 years, car will be worth 60-65k.
But the deal is not available on a roadster or a S.

+1

You might be better buying an 18 month old used one over the winter and selling it 18 months later still in warranty.
Got to be the best way to beat depreciation, interst rates are low enough to finance that with out too much interest accruing.

I suspect the current 0% deal from AM is to drive volume of the facelifted Vantage coupe on the new 62 plates wink

True
There are/were quite afew US S2000 owners who used to lease them, mod the hell out of them and then wonder why they got an enormous remedial bill at the end of the lease rolleyes

Therein lies the irony Mikey.....the greatest cost to modern Aston ownership is depreciation and the greatest driver on this issue is oversupply. Catch 22 really. They need volume sales to cover costs but the volume sales are killing residuals.

This from a company that only produced 46 cars twenty years ago, before Ford took full ownership smile

As for leasing, as a general rule I do tend to contract hire my BMWs as it makes commercial sense. These assets tend to be depreciating ones and I don't make any mods to company cars.

But the DB9 I bought outright at 12 months old smile
