Ear Issues, What is the likeley diagnosis
Discussion
Hi,
Never had any problems with my ears, bar a bit of tinnitus from loud music in my youth.
However, recently, I have been getting a lot of wax building up, Both runny and flakey, and a sinussy kind of squelching when I swallow, or move my jaw in a certain way, however recently loud noises are beginning to hurt, or make me flinch, and over this weekend I have started to feel unbalanced, and dizzy, almost like I am standing on a slope and needing to compensate by leaning in the other direction.
Any ideas? I’ve booked into the GP tomorrow, I just thought I's pass it up for opinion.

Cheers. Doc wasn't 100% sure but was swaying towards inner ear canal imflamation. he didn't seem to think it was serious, and I ended up feeling like I had wasted his time.
He wanted to know if I'd had a cold/hayfever recently as the sinussy stuff and blocked hearing could be from that, and wanted to give it a few weeks to see if it passes on its own. and If not, back for more tests.
The balance thing was glossed over, and the specific frequencies hurting, put down to the inflammation.
In a way I'm relieved, but.not convinced.
