Worth selling the reg plate ?
Discussion
Christ get the gallows out
Actually it is a serious question as normally I can't be arsed to take the plates off but x2 emails shortly after putting it up for sale made me think it might be worth doing ?
It it's worth less than a grand then I'll leave it on
Crimp -

Hi all,
Have put the GT2 up for sale as the good lady is grumpy following the GT3RS purchase.
I was planning to leave the plate on the car but have had a couple of mails about it now.
Reg no is GT02 YEP so fits well
Any ideas on a sensible valuation really appreciated
Thanks
J

It's definitely worth less than a grand. However, if a buyer of the car has their own plate they want to put on it, in which case rather than having to write a letter to DVLA declaring that you/they want to give up all rights to the current cherished plate it'd be worth the £25 annual retention fee to keep it and market it somewhere (you do have to pay the £80 transfer fee up front, but this is refundable if you decide not to renew the retention in future).Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
