Hello,

I have a pair of Orpheus Apollo (pretty sure they're these ones) speakers. I bought them when I lived in Oz and had them shipped when we moved back. They've been unused for so long now (they're awesome huge speakers and we just don't have the room!) that I'd like to sell them.

However, I can't find ANY for sale in the UK (used or new) and therefore I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best place to sell them and how to establish a sensible price for them?

Any audiophiles out there who know their stuff? The reviews of the speakers I can find are pretty good and I love(d) the sound from them (very warm and so on) so whilst they're not widely known, I think they're worth a few quid of anyone's money.

Thanks,
Phil.

Firstly join an start a thread on www.avforums.com see if you can find a uk retail price or if anyone knows anything about the UK market for them. You can't, as per most forums, sell off a thread but they have a very good classifieds section. You can't post in there until you have an asking price though so go the information route first. I've shifted plenty of high end speakers and amps there over the years.

What's so 'huge' about slim floorstanders at just under 1 metre height? Wire them up and enjoy them...

Scale. Small lounge = big speakers. In the same way I tend to pick girlfriends that have small hands.
