Who is on DN6?

Colin - in your opinion do you think 2.5mm to 3mm on the rear tyres (MPSC+) will see me though?
For the ring they should be just about okay at the rate that you are using them, but Nick is right about Spa though - that will finish them off and if it rains on the drive back through Belgium you will be parking up and waiting it out - it will be deadly. Given that they have had enough heat cycles to be past their best, I'd say treat it to a new set and save yourself the worry. The option is of course there to change but keep the old ones and have them put back on at some point in the future when you aren't going to be so far from home or you could try and squeeze a cheeky day somewhere local to use them up a bit more before swapping. I've a bit less on mine (the inners are almost slick but the middle and outer treads are viable and they aren't quite illegal yet according to the gauge even though they superficially look it), but they are being replaced with the new set in my garage before DN.

Yep, I'm going again. Love em. Spa on the Tuesday as well
Shaun, the accelerator is the pedal on the far right
on a serious note, if you wanted to really kill the tyres off and then get them swapped for journey home, I can transport them over for you as taking a few cars and a jeep and a Raceshuttle. I am based in Essex but work in London so can meet you before.
I actually have some spare 911 19' rims as well actually, but they are Techart Formulas and weigh about 700 Megatonnes each!

Porkie - cheers for the offer, but I've decided to change rears before the trip... Btw, thanks for the tip, I was wondering where the go pedal was
I'll be in the white/red RS that you keep overtaking, mind you having checked out the attendee list every other car seems to be a GT3!
I went to spa back in April with Gold Track, it was cold and damp, so perhaps that's why I did not wear the tyres much. Let's hope the weather in October is kind (fingers crossed), we lucked out in March for DN5.
Cheers
No worries. If you change your mind or you want to take the old ones out on some spare rims to finish em off just let me know

March was great weather.... Sadly I was only there the first day as had to get back to work... And if you remember someone smashed up their GTR and we lost a lot of time at the end
I also lost loads of time due to the farcical petrol situation!!!! Taking some jerrys this time to fill up night before!Look forward to meeting you. Will be in PK most nights

Erm, a cheeky question to anyone with a GT3. I'm looking to get one as my next car (Gen 2 997 Comfort) but I have never been in one. Would anyone mind giving me a passeneger lap? I'll gladly return the favour if anyone wants to slum it in an E92 M3
Pete
Ill give you a passenger lap in my modified e92 and then you might keep it

Wouldn't say no to a lap but I have my own that is going to be slowly modified over time! A nice set of APs is on the christmas list! Graham, I can take you out for a lap if you want to compare a near standard M3 to a well modifed one.

Griff, if I get the chance on the day when I'm not busy lapping myself would I be able to get a pax lap? Would like you to prove me wrong from thinking the E92 is a bad move from BMW!
I would have no problems in that and i should also be able to get you a lap in the tom schirmer m3 and that will really blow you away.I have a bespoke brake kit and have tried kw 2 way and 3 way suspension and now run nitron race dampers from tom schirmer.I have removed the seats and put in recaro profi seats.Ive also put some 18" wheels on and run dunlop dirreza 265 front and 295 rears and it goes very well.krallicious said:

No problem at all and it would be good to chat reference modifications
