Can anyone offer any advice about interior door opening switches. Got home last night, pressed the button to open the door, nothing. Obviously I tried the mirror door release, no probs. Tried again this am, still not working. I wonder if the all the rain we are having is a factor.

I have done a quick search in the fourums, I got to frustrated having to keep retyping the topics each time I try to get back to my search, oh well.

Thanks for any help

take off the interior door trim and check the connectors inside. It's most likely corrosion that needs to be cleaned up.

An easy job and there was a post with good instructions a while back, I'd recommend trying the search again

There are about 8/10 allen screws to remove the door skin. Thats it. Inside you'll find the main connector that trooper1212 is referring to. The one above the date in the photo.
