No I dont do Diesels if I can help it.
Its only the 2.5 but thats 201bhp the Elite was a 2.6 with only 170, so its a step in the right direction.
Still looking for the perfect 400bhp 4.2R, by perfect I mean <80k miles and <£3500 the search could take some time, so the sport will do nicely until then.

That's going to be a very long search indeed
I did a lot of research looking for my STR, ended up paying £5800 with 77k on the clock. I've seen higher milage ones from about £5k but under 80k on the clock you're not going to be seeing much less than 5.5-6kIncase it wasnt impossible enough, I forgot to add has to be a nice colour without the 2 tone seats, no newer than 55 plate (TAX) and preferably 2004 on.
I turned down an 2003 with 115k at £3600 recently.
And this one is tempting with 106k

I've only bloody found one.
100k on the clock, 55 plate. So post 2004 facelift, but pre 2006 road tax hike.
And it was £3750 english pounds.
But it does need a lot of work.
Pics and threads on what is basically a restoration project to follow.

The drive back was fine, the occasional wiff of anti freeze (from the slight header tank leak) had we checking the rear view mirror for steam a few times, but coolant level didnt drop.
Best bit of all was, it did 29.5mpg!!! I was expecting 22-24 and we were doing 80.
Now the hard work begings, bringing it back to full health.
