One of my 'radio' (TVR term) door keys ceased to work recently. I have replaced the batterys but it is still not deactivating the alarm/immobilser/door locks.

Does replacing the batteries involve having to re-program the key to the system? It worked ok until a couple of days ago.

Not in my experience, have replaced the battery on mine a couple of times with no problem. Maybe the circuit board is Fubar'ed?

Maybe it was the length of time the fob batterries were dead but I had to re-code the duff fob.

Searched out an old thread detailing the 16 button push method and the duff fob now works again.

Result!

Does the push button feel sloppy? One of my keys only works if i take it out of its plastic casing.

Would you mind PM-ing me the thread please? It could come in useful at a later date when my fobs give up the ghost. I also have my old Chimaera fobs from the Meta alarm so I might be able to code those across as well.
