Cadwell trackdays

Been considering getting a track car. Trying to do more reasearch/get experience before taking the plunge.

Seems to be quite a few days at Cadwell. Do you think it's worth going over just to spectate/speak to the experienced guys/get some pointers?

Do you think I would be able to get a passenger ride?

I guess I would need to take a helmet? Any other stuff mandatory for passengers?

Yes, you should be able to get some pax rides. Take a helmet if you have one otherwise you can usually hire one for £10/day. Make sure your arms and legs are covered (no shorts/T-shirts).

Yeah i'd deffo go down and check it out first if you're thinking of getting a track car.
I've done a few track days in my Fiat 500 Abarth and they are brilliant fun!
Most people seem to be pretty friendly at track days and i'm sure there will be a few people there that will happily take you out for a few laps and give you some great advice.
Also, Blyton park isn't too far away from Cadwell so maybe go and have a look there too?

There's a track day on on Wednesday @ Cadwell.
I will be running some black caterhams from our truck for the day, feel free to come quiz me (Harry) on them, if Caterhams are of interest to you.
