PROBLEMS WITH MY E46 318CI

Hi Everyone

Im having problems when i start my E46 318CI, it seems to lose power!

once the car is warm its fine! does anyone know what this could be?

Mt guess would be a temperature sensor of some description if the engine is rubbish when cold but fine when warm.

Possible cylinder head gasket leak which seals when the head expands with heat?

Possibly, if it was older I'd say a manifold gasket needs replacing. Or the head gasket as the poster above said.

Warm up regulator of some sort.

Best play safe and replace the engine...


It's the only way to be sure.
