Best Satnav/online for route with respect to live traffic

Hi

Anyone have any ideas on which system has the best live traffic planning. My Google Nav suggests a stupid route despite also displaying the slow traffic areas and only suggests a quicker route when asked to recalculate alternatives.

Is there a good website that can calculate both on current traffic and usual traffic by weekday/season etc?

Tomtom Live w/ HD Traffic IMO.

For current traffic conditions I use TomTom Live Route planner - but mainly to confirm traffic issues on my commute

I also have a TomTom Go live which I mainly use for Traffic. People have issues with TomTom HD Traffic ( search and TomTom Forums) ) as it doesn't always show road closures and doesn't take into account incidents greater than about 50 miles (which may make alternative routes better). Trouble is I don't think there is an alternative anywhere close, especially on A & B roads

My Garmin nuvi 1390t does pretty good traffic updates and avoidance, not always instantaneous but for the price can't really complain.
