What's your fave porsche colour ever? I remember when top gear ran the new 993 turbo in mint green - looked pretty mad, although I don't think I could live with it day to day. One colour that had a big impact too was around '94 when ford released the escort cosworth in a deep blue metallic.

depends on the Porsche in question...

- mint green or maritime blue for 964RS

- speed yellow for 968CS or GT2

- iris blue for 993 Carrera etc.

I love Lapis Blue - which I have on my Boxster S but I also like Rainforest Green and there's a winy, burgundy, metallic colour that looks fantastic as well. Anyone know what they call that?

Why Don, that'll be the ultra rare Winy Burgundy Metallic

Don't know the name, but it was a limited edition colour for the hmmm, 98 or 99 model year, from memory. A mate's dad has an S in said colour, with ally finished intake grilles - looks very, very nice.

PS - I quite like Arctic Silver, and before you all flame me with "But it's dead boring, Greg", it goes real well with the Boxster Red interior. Mrs Greg loves it anyhoo.

Winy Burgundy Metallic is 'Arena Red' I believe.

Are we talking Arena Red perchance?

Winy colour probably Rubystone Red. Which is nice!

I like Sun Yellow (but am biased) and Maritime Blue (depressingly common though) and Mint Green, which is stunning in the flesh even if you can be a littel taken aback on first viewing.

I drive a 993TT - Arctic Silver with full Flemenco red leather interior. This was my fave colour combo and took a while to find.

PS - Anyone going to Le Mans tomorrow?

Absolutely delighted! I've gone from a Range Rover to a Porsche - talk about from the sublime to the ridiculous!

lapis blue easy..

do also really like Arena Red but was advised against it last time around as apparently its really bad news when you come to sell. cant see why I think the burgandy metallic colour is superb...

I love lapis blue too. Color of my current Porsche. I've decided to be really traditional next time and go Guards Red. Hope I still like it as much when it arrives in November.
