Can rattles be fixed under warranty?

As title suggests, can rattles be fixed under warranty?

Recently noticed that there's a rattle/tapping noise coming from both sides of the car which I've now narrowed down to the windows. It happens when they are up, but if I have them down slightly it goes away.

Can this issue be fixed? And if it can, can it be fixed under warranty?

For info it's a 3 door Audi A3, 22 months old, owned from new, covered 32,000 miles.

Just wondered what people thought before I call up tomorrow. Should I ignore the issue or demand it be dealt with etc etc.

Seems a bit shoddy when it's not even 2 years old. What will it be like at 5 years / 10 years etc!

I'd phone the dealer and ask.It could be a common fault with the a3?

It should be covered under manufacturers warranty

I always thought warranty rattles where only covered in the first six months. It is that way with the dealers I have worked for.

Appears to be a common problem with a resolution of smearing lubricant all over the door seals. Wtf!

Think it depends on the manufacturer, thought from memory Peugeot and Renault would look at that in the first 12 months from when I worked there.

Cheers. Don't know if I want it fixing if grease is the solution. Seems like a design flaw to me. Shame as my 2004 A3 didn't suffer this problem.
