Have I been wound up, or is the following correct, ??. regarding giving my Triumph Stag an engine flush. cheap 20/50 oil mixed 50/50 with PARRAFIN, idle for 10mins, drain. replace filter, replace oil....job done.

I wouldn't be doing it on anything I had any respect for that's for sure.

Why do you think you need an engine flush?

if you want to do an engine flush, why not do a traditional engine flush - leave the oil in, put in a can of engine flush, run for 10 minutes, replace with new oil?

Engine flush- almost universally more trouble than it's worth. Unless your engine is sludged up with emulsion or something, I wouldn't go anywhere near the stuff.

I thought engine flushing went out with rope piston rings and monthly decokes biggrin
