Nise from dash

Anyone get a noise from their dash around the steering wheel area ,sounds like a relay clicking in then out every 10 seconds or so. Its pecking my head in. Ive tried driving faster and with the top down to drown it out but i can still hear it. ( worse case is i will have to have a look)

It's the mile counter. Same in my old 93 430 Chim.

cheers . If i had a radio id turn it up,so i will just have to rev more and drown it out.
