Agents, backhanders, dodgy dealings and blind eyes....

After an off season of deals and large sums changing hands anyone have an insight into how prevalent the backhanders and under the table cash deals are?

I keep thinking that football clubs seems to turn a blind eye to hangers-on all getting a cut and for some reason seem to sanction deals that sometimes make no sense.

Is this a case of cynicism or reality?
