Afternoon folks,

I'm asking this question from a (i have no experience background), so appologies if it sounds basic.

I have a Samsung D5000 46 In LED TV, and currently looking at getting the newish Samsung HWE450 Soundbar with Wireless Sub.

Currently i have 3 inputs going into my TV which are, Media Player, PS3, and Sky + HD.

What would be the best way to connect the soundbar, The Soundbar has 1 Optical input and 1 HDMI in/out.

Is it as simple as connecting the Optical from TV - Soundbar??? If so is there difference in quality than using HDMI??

Cheers in Advance

Gaz

If its the same one I'm thinking of. You need to connect the TV to the subwoofer using HDMI, the wireless part is from the subwoofer to the other speakers.

Hey Silver,

I've had a look, briefly in PC World, the Soundbar sits / connect to TV via Cables, and the SubWoofer connects vie wireless to the soundbar.
