As my 2005 SAAB 9-3 TID (150bhp) is on 110k now, daily round trip is only 20 miles from Home > Work > Home (mostly on A road).

Can't decide on what car to replace. Budget probably £3k to £4k,

There is a itch inside me thinking I should go for 2 seaters (no MX-5 !) as we've got Honda CR-V as family wagon (holiday etc) but what if the Honda is having issue and need to have 4 seaters to ferry that two little rascals.

Should I keep SAAB and drive it till it die (think that going to be long time)?

Unless you live somewhere super remote then you should never have an issue being without a 4 seater for a couple of days. Thousands of homes have 1 or 0 cars and cope admirably.
