The Factory built 2 x 4.3 V8S and one 5 litre one (all for personal friends of Peter Wheeler), so it was done pre-Jools

I used to absolutely love my S, always wanted a V8S. Fantastic cars! and considerably rarer than Chimera - I bet in 10 years time thats worth more than a chimp.

I bet that is fun, agreed they are rarer than the chim. I used to love my s3 it was like driving a sporty landrover my chim felt a lot more refined compared to the s still miss it though. I bet with the 5 litre lump in it will be interesting.

Stunning V8S for sale at 'Classic and sportscars by the lake' today. Was chatting with the owner, its Silver and you you could eat dinner off the engine, totally rebuilt just superb, looks better than a new car, every detail, and he's asking 9k for it. Absolute bargain I reckon....

I phoned this one up when it first came up for sale in June, the week I got my Chim,the bloke has a car he races as well,and this S was looked after by his racing mechanic, sounded good but to wild for my first TVR!!
