yes niel, it's as you say, just cut a couple of blocks to size and make sure they stay there! i am taking it easy, duncans doing that work. he's also doing a genuine lwb tuscan v8 which i did the chassis for and the fibreglass is in remarkable nick, more than could be said for the chassis. going back as a bolt on body and i will post some pics of the done job. best regards keith 
When I removed my Griff 200 body I only (well mainly) removed the fibreglass at the outriggers and managed to leave the rest mostly intact. I then made new "channel formers" to go over the outriggers and just glassed in.
Seems easier than removing the entire floor.
Certainly creates some dust though!
