Been reading loads of good things about this I want to get into cycling after spending loads of time on my mountain bike as a kid. Before I spend a lot of money on a more expensive bike thought it would be an idea to get a intro model for a year to gauge how much I will use it. Just wanted to check if there are any real life reviews of it, does anyone have one, what are they like?

Was at Decathlon Glasgow today and they have none in stock, flying out the door according to the staff member I spoke to. They are getting some 57 sizes in soon but that is the only size they can get from the factory!

All the real life reviews I've read on forums are from people singing its praises. Some people put better tyres on it, others find the saddle uncomfy and change it for a new one. Other than that, buy with confidence (assuming you can find one!)

As above, mine has performed faultlessly since January, but the standard tyres, which were Hutchinson Nitros, and these seemed to cut quite easily on Kents finest roads. I also changed the saddle as the standard one didn't quite suite my back side, but not this will obviosuly affect everyone.

For £300 its awesome value, and not a massive chunk of money if you decide road cycling is not for you.

1500 miles commuting on mine since April last year. I agree with the point about the tyres, otherwise an excellent bike. As are all Decathlon bikes.
