Autohoods

I've been waiting for my new Autohoods roof to arrive which should have got here on 11th August.

Phoned today to find out where it is only to be informed that the company has been taken over and Ray no longer works there.

Waiting for a call tomorrow to let me know if I will get a new roof for my money and if it has been produced. If not I guess it will be back to the Credit Card company for a refund!!!

Anyone else waiting on Autohoods should phone urgently just to make sure that delivery dates and finances are in order.

Damn, I was going to order one soon.

Mind you I'm not that shocked, when I called to enquire the guy wasn't at all helpful, to the point of being rather blunt.

Is there another good alternative?

The chap on the phone was polite enough today and seemed keen to help.

Tomorrow should give a better indication.

Just reordered with the new guys. It will be another 2 weeks and another £30. What a suprise. Not!!!

In all fairness, it is not their fault but I thought that a bit of a good will gesture may have helped.
