Am absolutely amazed firstly by how good the NHS is in these situations
People don't realise there's usually a wait in hospitals because there's someone else who needs treatment more urgently. It's not until you have a serious problem that you realise we are blessed with the health service we have.duggan said:
As the car has those trick damper/suspension set-ups (PASM), you can select either stiff or soft ride, so it wasn't that bad on my back. Given what I've been through, I didn't stray too far from my house and was only out for an hour or so - just had to get out in it and feel all the btter for it. Have been a passenger in the Mrs's 500 Abarth for the last week and the suspension on that really did cause me a lot of pain!
Fair play chap. Best of luck in the futurezeduffman said:

I was totally humbled by the care and attention I received by both nursing staff and the surgeons who operated on me - I got the nurses a hamper full of treats and the Surgeons some aged Whiskey as some way of saying thanks - the plan is also to run my next marathon for them, although I think it'll have to be London 2014

I love the colour combo - it suits this lovely weather brilliantly. I hope you enjoyed your drive..
Regards the crash, it sounds painfull and I am pleased that you are in the process of making a full recovery. In my opinion, you are a (very) decent bloke to even think about putting a hamper together for the staff responsible for aiding your recovery. Just a small idea but goes to show there are good people out there. Great goals too!
Top man, great car. Enjoy!

Just wanted to say, get well soon. The accident sounds horrific, I had a (much smaller) accident about 7 years ago, and it certainly changed my outlook on things.
The car looks stunning, a 997 GT3 is my goal in life (via a Z4m Coupe, Exige and F355...), I think the colour looks great!
Do you still have the Cobra? I fell deeply in love with that car at the SS at Rolls Royce last year and desperately chasing you up to the A3.
All the best
