Hi Guys good to see that you contstanly follow every thread about Juno. Don't remember SS congratulating the great Job the Juno did when it took the MSV top spot. Can't see any Nobles on the list, I know Nobles have tried Abd failed as they can't meet tbe stringent noise at Bedford!

At least I went on a timed event and achieved 1st place but I would expect Certain Curry eaters to to have nothing better to do than Mock!

As for comments about the Road Car Dax it just goes to show how little you know and IMO how stupid and unintelligible your comments are!

It was built with the intention of winning this event, it also runs Wings for downforce which were provided by Grsham Hathaway racing. The slicks are rather large in profile. The engine is a bespoke built Hyabussa with F1 Turbo and engine managent! The car runs about 510BHP with full manged paddle shift. It was not cheap to build and has been a project of several years to Win this event! Graham Hathaway is working on other stuff and an interesting project car that might be able to beat the SR8.

I feel quite sorry for Duncan as we were having a good battle over this which was very close and Bar the Radical it would have been worth continuing!

When the Juno took top spot Radical obviously got very Pissed Off and sent down tbe big hitters to secure the Crown for good!

Well for those that believe an SR8 can get under the noise limits of Bedford so be it, some won't !

So in summary the Juno challenge took Pole Position for a good while, the Noble Challenge is all Mouth and no Action !

I'm surprised there's so much interest in Trawling the Forums to find JUNO information!

I used to get told THIS IS A NOBLE FORUM so ps off with your Juno comments!

Strange when it suits certain individuals raise the Juno thing!

Well one things sure the Noble would be a painfully slow 4-5 seconds slower at Bedford should you even be able meet the challenge?

As Matt will tell you the race car albeit an awsome bit of kit was around 15 seconds a lap slower at Snetterton, Now that's what I call a difference, slicks against slicks 580hp v's a poultry 240hp 2.0 Honda!

Well yes I have driven the Noble a bit more but am know convinced with the constant engine a gearbox rebuilds you are constantly doing you have only confirmed that the best track option is the Juno and I will use the Noble for the Sunday paper collection!

Thanks for all your posts showing me just how stupidly expensive it is to try and make a Noble a reliable track car! Ah you can't!

Albeit IMO Shaun you only post nonsense you are still welcome to a lift back home in the comfort of my air conditioned double cab tow vehicle next time your gearbox spits itself out!

just to clarify, I wasn't trawling all forums to find something about Juno's. I often read the general Motorsport forum and thought I'd share this thread here, the first time I've quoted anything to do with Juno's. You dont need to make excuses for being beaten and you don't need to spit your dummy again about nobles. I was more curious to know if you'll be trying to beat that time.

Firstly most of my reply was aimed at Shaun post, hence why it's posted against his reply, I took yours more in the Spirit of Jest

If an SR8 which in spec is almost an LMP2 car is not the quickest thing around any track I'd be surprised! I've already heard from experienced UK trackdays promoters who just don't know how an SR8 could go around Bedford within the noise limits. Most people can't get a Noble around let alone a 2.7 v8 revving to10500rpm!

I've headed the MSV how fast so don't see that as get beaten, we had a good challenge until the inclusion of tbe SR8! So why didn't you post that whilst looking around.

Oh yes I've got a Noble but I know it's just No Good as a track car if you want reliability!

Pound for pound IMO its not worth spending the money just for it to keep breaking!

So the bit about Noble reliability is bassed on fact, how many engines and gearboxes and how many cars spend most of their time laid up in workshops, your choice but not for me. I prefer correct tool for the Job!

This forum shows time and time again all the weak spots!

The full spec is 1980's F1 Turbo managed by Life Racing Drive By Wire F88 Management system, not a bad spec for a Dax
