Pine tree resin removal

Single blob of tree resin now baked on paintwork after today's hot sun.

Any clues for neat and gentle removal?

Get yourself a clay bar, should lift it

Hot water wash with a good detergent followed by a citrus based de-greaser / t&g remover before the clay.

as said Hot water ,

never use clay bar wont really work .

another option if you are machine correcting afterwards is to use credit card or similar to slice of the sap from the paint (sometimes comes clean off), and lastly Gtechniq C2 works well to dissolve tree sap too
