Blue Tyres

This might sound a little odd, but which are the best blue coloured tyres. I've currently got blue rubinio pros, but have another set of rims coming in a week or so, and wondered whether to get another set of rubinios, or are there better options out there.

only wanting blue so not to break up the lovely blue colour coding everywhere on the felt.

IIRC your options are some Vredesteins (Forza Tri-Comp, from memory?), Schwalbe Ultremos or Duranos, or some Michelin Pro Race 4s.

I have red Vredesteins Forza Tri-Comp, so they are probably slightly faster than blue ones, but I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have found that they ride best at 140 psi, so if you do buy a set make sure your rims can go to 140 psi.

IMHO the ride is excellent, the transition from upright to a heavy lean is seamless, I have never felt the tyre drift, even in the fastest/tightest of corners. The middle of the tyre has a very thin strip of slightly harder rubber compound with a very slight cross pattern resembling some sort of grip (fairly sure its just for ascetics), shoulders are much softer compound and are confidence inspiring in the corners. I have ridden lots of crappy road surfaces with no splits, tears or punctures.

Not the Schwalbes: shonky quality. Of the two remainders, I'd settle for either! Know plenty who race on both with zero problems
