Kaiserschmarrn is a favorite of mine that I have made at a few get togethers. It always disapears pretty quickly.

I wish I could make Apple Crumble as well as my Mum makes it, or Eve's pudding they are pretty special.

OP, Banoffee Pie is a winner.

Emirates Lounge at Birmingham Airport rolled some out while I was waiting for a flight. I got through three large slices before beginning to feel like a glutton and just a touch sick.

Faloodeh.

Utterly sublime rose water spaghetti ice, served with lime juice and lashings of pomegranate syrup.

Trinity Cream, accompanied by a glass of Sauternes. Nothing too heavy - must leave room for cheese!

But that banoffee pie looks tasty too!

The cheese should be eaten before dessert.

Its got to be an old skool crumble Apple or Apple and Blackberry and at this time of the year they are mostly free after a good old fashioned bit of scrumping.

Summer pudding.

Home/hedge picked berries simply served in a bread base.

For winter or really cold nights, you can't beat a good apple and blackberry crumble. This is a straight apple one.

But for summer you can't beat a good lemon tart.

With a twist on serving ideas. This came about after I botched the pastry case.

Recipe can be found on this link.
