What Car? Sorry guys..
Discussion
Hello,
So turning 21 in a couple of months and on the lookout for my 2nd car!
Requirements:
- Petrol
- Only doing about 4-5k miles a year, so MPG isn't too much of a major issue (at least 20 would be nice though)
- 4+ seats (back would be for children), not used very regularly but will need to a couple of times a month.
- Not too old, ideally looking for something at least 2005 onwards in decent condition
- Something with a bit of pull to it, after having to put up with the old family Ford KA run around for the last few months I can't wait.
Budget is about £5k, could push to £6k (just for car).
Have been looking at a Focus ST (Pre-Facelift) or possibly a Mazda RX-8 (not quite sure of opinions on here of this car!). I'm sure someone will still recommend a Mazda MX-5 though!
Not really sure what else is out there which meets the requirements so hoping you guys can help.
Thanks
Edit: Sorry, I guess there are quite a few cars that do. Needs to be something that's not going to cost the earth to repair/maintain, that doesn't have a long list of known faults (although I know a lot does have to do with maintenance). Would quite like something unique/different for my age group rather than following the crowd so to speak smile.
Let's add sub 7ish 0-60, if that narrows it down a bit.

BMW 330ci
Honda CTR/ATR
Mercedes C Class
Mitsubishi Evo 4/5
Nissan 200sx/GTST
Toyota Celica/Supra
Vauxhall Ashtray 1.2
Honestly, there are a lot of cars that fall into that bracket. Is there anything a little more specific you're after? 4 seats and nice are the only things that I picked up in the OP.
