Euro break-down cover...
Discussion
well just phoned the folks @ the ADAC and have been advised that although they can cover France and Switzerland obviously Germany is not covered since as far as they are concerned it's not foreign cover (should really have thought of that one!!). Any other recomendations for the best cover?
Most breakdowns orgs have a rising cover.
so UK only followed by Euro - which as it's an upgrade would include the UK also...

When I was taking the E30 round Europe last year, owing to the age of the car it was very difficult to actually get approved cover from the majority of companies.
Ended up settling for First Call. Iirc, their cover for a whole year cost the same as the AA wanted to upgrade theirs for the 2 week holiday period. Never had to use them, so can't comment how effective they are when the s
t actually hits the fan.

Very good indeed, £37 gave me full cover including loss of keys for 16 days travelling through France. All other European countries are included on their list. Doubt you'll find cheaper, although can't comment on their rescue service as luckily it wasn't required!

As above, Germany is certainly included (or thats what they told me). I think it is around 80 euros per year (including UK), very good cover and they use the AA for UK call outs. I can't see the logic in excluding themselves from their Euro cover!so UK only followed by Euro - which as it's an upgrade would include the UK also...

Also they recover from the Nurburgring, which I think is normally 100 euros+ as they hold the contract there. (May be false but what I had heard).
