Hi

I'm busy doing a bit of market research into the world of car care and would be grateful for your input

I'm interested to know what products people use
How often you use them
and what you have found to be the most useful in keeping your car in top condition

I recently used T-Cut`s "Black Car Kit" not really expecting much but was actually quite impressed with the finished results.

Don`t leave the "cutting compound" part on too long though as it`s an arse to get off again.

I was so pleased I actually did the wife`s (black) Polo afterwards.
You can see all the dents much better now...

Some products I use every week (shampoo/wash mit/quick detail spray) and some only get used once or twice a year (clay/paintwork cleanser). I'd say the most useful product I use is Clearkote Quickshine, I just wish it was easier to get hold of in the UK!

Use Autoglym shampoo every 2 weeks and then super resin polish and gloss sealant every 2 months or so. Alot cheaper and more effective than going to a car wash.

For my own cars I use the autoglym shampoo every week and then on a bi-monthly basis I usually apply G-techniq or Glare liquid glass sealant.
