Weekend MOTs

The MOT on my 3-series is due in a few weeks time and I am struggling to find anywhere that will perform MOTs on a Saturday. Neither of the two BMW main dealers nearest to me (Isleworth) will do it, and nor will any of the local backstreet/indy places. Last year I tried to book with Kwik-Fit, who took a Saturday morning MOT booking, but cancelled at very short notice (8.30am on the day).

Am I asking the impossible? Do MOT testers simply "not do" weekends?

All of you people who get your MOTs done at weekends and "don't see the problem" - where do you live?

Any recommendations for places that do weekend MOTs in SW or W London would be great.

We do MOTs on Saturday mornings but we're in Sidcup, probably too far.

Council MOT centres open on a Saturday and very early too. The one in Leicester opens at 7.00am on a Saturday. This is the nearest one to you: Hounslow: Bridge Rd Depot, Pears Rd, Hounslow, TW3 1SQ 020 8583 5430

The great thing is that they don't do repairs so have no vested interest in failing you. I cannot recommend them enough - I drive 25 miles to the nearest one to me that is how highly I rate it.

As you are only in Isleworth I can recommend two local places for a saturday mot.
You will need to book in advance as they get booked up on sat.
