What is this switch?

I am probably being totally thick. I have just had an alarm fitted with central locking etc. I thought the swtich in the centre consol was something to do with alarm or immobiliser (after fit).

It is a black swtich with 'red' led in it?

if it does nothing then it's the high/low boost switch that's not connected. The fog switch has "fog light" written around it.
