Has anyone got any experience with the above exercise equipment?

I was reading an article about the Pallof Press as a good way of increasing core strength and started looking into resistance bands. The Bodylastics ones seem universally praised in reviews etc. but I am very suspicious of the complete lack of negative reviews and the way the reviews are nearly always well written and refer to competing brands etc.

I was wondering if anyone had any real life experience of these things?

Cheers,

TJT.

Great for making home made catapults smile I guess they will give you a mini workout if you do plenty of reps

You really don't need much for a good core workout apart from a decent mat. Simple press-ups done properly are a great core exercise also there's lots of different kinds of press-ups, there's tons of different kinds of situps, planks, mountain climbers etc.
Then go for a swiss(gym) ball and you can do press-ups and planks on this to make the core work harder, plus loads more.

Keep it simple smile

I have the TO Bodylastic set (Terrell Owens...some random ripped up NFL player)

They are great and do what they say they do...you're never going to bust them unless you tow a lorry with them! Great to get a workout in when busy and no gym around. Also used for warmup for sports, easy to chuck a light one in a bag for getting shoulders warm.

I have a set of resistance bands (Fit66) for my tennis and use these at home or warm up my shoulders, before I hit the tennis court.
