Toon - any good recomendations??

Up in Newcastle in a couple of weeks for a uni reunion and gf's birthday.

Its on a Sunday so have booked Fishermans Lodge for lunch and a stroll around the Dene but looking for somewhere nice for dinner.

When I was there 8 years ago it was all about Heartbreak Soup, Biscuit Factory and the few Italians in Jesmond but these don't seem to appear too well on Trip Advisor anymore.

So can anyone point me in the right direction, thanks in advance.

What sort of food are you after?

Not too fussed on food style. Ive changed Fishermans Lodge to Jesmond Dene House for lunch, that seems quite formal, so open to something a little different for dinner.

Blackfriars, Biscuit Factory and even Sachins don't open Sunday evening so still open to ideas - thanks
