V12V shift lights
Discussion
If you're concentrating on the road, the little red shift lights are quite useful - they catch your eye without you having to look down and check the revs.
Shame there isn't a green - yellow - red progression like my old Tuscan. You could manually set them as well, really useful when pushing on, and that was NOT a car where you needed to take your eyes off the road!

Same on BMW M cars. The best was on the M5 with the HUD. That meant the shift lights were on the end of the bonnet.Shame there isn't a green - yellow - red progression like my old Tuscan. This can actually be done aftermarket fairly easily I think - the lights you can get from Demon Tweeks etc. Just not easy to make it look nice! Although lights on the upper edge of the Aston binnacle would look OK if they were recessed.../an idea for Adrian at BR there maybe...
