Engine revs

Ok my little chucklebutties, why does my Kent cam cut in the power at 3k but seem to bounce off the rev limiter at 4500 rpm?

Any ideas.

Seems as if your cam is designed to move the powerband up the rev range giving more power, but your rev limiter is set too low. My limiter cuts in around 6100.

Is the engine noisy ....you're sure it's not a diesel?

That's very low for max revs!
