I remember reading that first time out, and read again today.

Only difference is two years ago i thought 3grand on a bike was crazy money.

Now I have a £2k hybrid, two £2k road bikes and a Boardman Air 9.8

Strava has become my benchmark, by Garmin failing is worse than Sky losing signal and my thrice weekly rides are interspersed with looking forward and planning the next route.

What a load of bks and prob written by some fat bloke who's crap on a bike , middle aged at 35??, most the people i race with are in their 40's and fitter than teenagers.

TBH most 'very expensive' carbon road bikes I see at weekends are ridden by 40+ blokes, with the Team Sky Lycra getting an extreme stretch test!.
