not that it is going to sit in the garage for 4 months but what do you guys do to keep the car in good nick over winter and what type sort of battery charger / conditioner do you recommend. My car has a battery isolator switch fitted but im loathed to use it as radio / alarm/ immobliser will all need re-setting etc, would rather have it on charge then if the sun comes out.....smile

I intend to fire it up and take it for a spin whenever possible but interested what other people do over winter etc, sorry for mentioning winter it will be christm..... sorry! smile

I SORN mine over winter, up on axle stands in timber garage. Had it periodically on trickle-charge using the Halfrauds conditioner thingy a few days at a time (never armed alarm). Batt still died on me, had to replace.
I will isolate batt this winter, to kill all drain. The stereo (original) did not need recoding however.

I've got a CTEK battery charge.

This one in fact:

I find it perfect. You need to have ready access to power in your storage area obviously.

Very easy to use and doesn't seem to get either itself or the battery hot. I plug it in if it's left standing for over a week.
