Feeling Dizzy!!
Discussion
So on Sunday morning im in my bedroom about to get dressed when the room starts spinning and I have to sit down on my bed. The spinning passes but Im left with that feeling you have when you're really hungry and feel a bit weak (low sugar levels?)
I felt like that pretty much all of Sunday and Monday. Monday evening after eating my dinner I get raging heartburn! Now I never get heartburn and it scared me a bit as it felt like I was having a bloody heart attack! It lasted about 1.5 hours before it started to subside.
So with these two thngs happening I thought Id better get myself along to the Drs to have it checked out. Went yesterday and he looked at my BP, pulse and inside my ears, all normal.
Back at work today and I still have that strange weak feeling
Had a couple of bananas when I arrived but soon after the heartburn was back! Have just eaten my lunch but no sign of it yet.
Not sure what sort of replies Im expecting just wondering if anyone has had similar?
If theres no improvement then of course Ill go back to the Drs.

Stress? Late nights? Too much caffeine? These will give you vestibular problems.
Could be vertigo (nothing to do with a fear of heights
), labrynthitis or meniere's. You don't want the latter as you have to hand in your driving licence!
I take it your doc gave you pills (or does he like you to suffer?). Betahistine usually works. There's another one I can't remember that does the trick but makes you feel soooo drowsy.

Thank you for your replies. I recenlty started going to the gym and cutting down on what I eat (not drastically) so not sure if that is a factor. Dont drink much caffeine so thats not really an issue. Could be something like labrynthitis but the Dr looked in my ears and they werent inflamed or anything. Not sure if thats how you diagnose it.
He didnt give me any medication, just said that if it happens again to go back to him.

I don't think it is. My doctor didn't bother with an examination. Just prescribed Betahistine and sent me on my way. Said to come back if it persisted as it would mean something more interesting. He didnt give me any medication, just said that if it happens again to go back to him.
I dont want to scare you, but I thought I should post this just in case, as you have described something similar to symptoms my mum had....
Insist on a 24hour Heart reading (ECG, I think its called), my mum was experience similar symptoms to yours, and it turns out she needed a pacemaker, it was to do with a fluctuating heart rate.

Interesting post. Ive had a couple of ECGs before as I kept on getting the feeling of my heart fluttering from time to time. The ECG at the time didnt show anything. I was offered a 24 hour heart monitor but declined. May reconsider just to rule it out.
