Thanks guys
It is such an incredible machine, and have only driven it twice since i have got it as it isn't parked outside due to lack of space so have to arrange to go and pick it up when i want it.
I have been stopped at petrol stations with people asking about it, and one guy was even taking pictures of it. Is this normal behaviour from people?
I managed to update the V5 register, and even added some pictures though it took me several attempts to get it right!

Just to add something to the history of this car, which states Peninsula TVR supplied this new to the first owner...
I bought my TVR T350T brand new from Peninsula TVR in July/August 2005. When I picked it up mid Aug, Alan Williams (the sales guy there) had taken delivery of a CG Saggy and it was sat in the showroom. I am 99.99% certain it was this car becasue I remember it having a very light portland interior.
However, what I find odd is RX is a reading registration number, Peninsula was in Exeter and all cars had WA (or a W* of some sort) prefixes.
Somewhere I have a picture of this car sat in the showroom, but I'll be buggered if I can find it. I've gone thorough all my pic-up pictures and TVR pictures, but to no avail. If I find it I'll be sure to post it up.

Well i have just looked at the page of the owners handbook, and at the top where it says Vehicle Registration Number, it says something completely different to RX55 YGG, even though the V5 has a note on the bottom that says registered as new. So not really sure about what happened with it at the start of its life. I bought my TVR T350T brand new from Peninsula TVR in July/August 2005. If you do happen to come across that photo, it would be great to see it! Yeah, the interior is portland grey (which i think suits the exterior!)
The colour is growing on me a lot. I have looked through the pictures on the exterior colour options thread, and in some of the other threads, and i am a big fan of some of the cascade colours, like cascade indigo and copper, and was really tempted to change it. But thinking about in the long term, i will leave to and see how it goes!
Hopefully the weather will be good this weekend as i plan on taking it out so i will see how many times people come over and talk to me about it

Sounds like it may have been originally registered on a private plate? Then the private plate retained when it was first sold. The DVLA then allocated a random plate to the car to its second owner.SagarisChris said:

I'm trying and get back in contact with the Sales guy who ran Peninsula back then, and direct him here. I'm sure he'll have the full story about the car.
