Noble v Mobile Phone Thief
Discussion
Hi All
Yesterday we were in Dublin city centre around 7.30pm looking for our hotel. The car is getting a lot of admiring looks, so things are pretty good but we are lost. We pull over and four lads come over to the passenger side, one is quite drunk. My girlfriend asks them for directions and rather stupidly puts her hand out the window with her iphone to show them the hotel on maps. The drunk one grabs the phone and starts walking away from the car. His friends say that he is only messing around and shout at him to give it back. At first I think he is going to give it back but he carries on walking away from the car. He then stops walking and starts running away and runs round a corner at which point I decide enough is enough and start the car and we chase after him. He is running pretty fast and is 200 or 300 hundred yards ahead but we chase him round three or four streets and catch him hiding behind a pillar. I get out of the car and he gives the phone back.
He probably was just messing around but whatever he was thinking once he realised he was getting chased by a Noble he gave up. In Top Gear terms it is Mobile Phone Thief 0, Noble 1!

Irish can't be trusted with anything.
Glad you got your phone back! Did you find the hotel alright in the end? Don't leave your card details behind reception or they'll be off to order parts for a nail bomb on your behalf.
Oi!!! half of me is saying (my mothers half) "watch it, we know where you live, so we do"!! (yes Belfast)Glad you got your phone back! Did you find the hotel alright in the end? Don't leave your card details behind reception or they'll be off to order parts for a nail bomb on your behalf.
