makes a difference to noise (may not get on some tracks)
maybe 1 or 2bhp (not that you would notice)
more beneficial if you are trying to get 200bhp + (very difficult with a cat on !)
get them from www.eliseparts.com
no it wont pass an MOT - you need to keep the cat and put it back on at MOT time

yeah - most people do it for the noise, and if they are trying to get 200bhp+ out of an engine.

A sports cat is just as good - few bhp, MOT legal, little bit more noise...about £250 though

I went sports cat route - still way cheaper than standard lotus item - fills the noise of the 111s in noicely below about 4k - makes it a bit deeper before the 4,500 scream starts!

Yup - Ive got both - need a CRP to make the power...adn a cat wouldnt last long ...have a flexi sports cat for track days and MOT time
