Dear PH

You have a whole paragraph on banks, which I strongly suggest is complete rubbish. If your going to print it at least check it out.
A finance house will most likely a)agree a repo voluntarily, b)turn up and ask for the key c)stick it on a trailer and get a key from the manufacturer, cost added onto the account. They are not going to buy a £6k device per manufacturer or program keys themselves, and any suggestion that they do is rather silly.
Just really

Err, I bet the finance house simply outsources the job to a 3rd party who has or is willing to pay for this kit - and I bet they can get it for a fraction of the cost.http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyI...

See a), b) & c) in my post. I work a lot with a major car finance company and have had some insights into this.
